Gary Shirley Reveals Daughter Emilee Had to Get Stitches After Hitting Her Head at the Airport

Poor Emilee! Gary Shirley's daughter suffered a scary accident on June 20 when she hit her head while at the airport. The Teen Mom OG star is always candid with his followers, and shared pics of the incident with fans.

According to his Instagram post, the little one, who he shares with wife Kristina Shirley, took a tumble just as they were gearing up to kick off their vacation. "Best start to a vacation. Happened at the airport! Hit her head on a chair! She’s good to go now. But was very scary!," he captioned the post which shows Emilee's injury and subsequent stitches.

Despite having a gash in her head, Emilee looked entirely brave. After seeing the scary post, fans sent their well wishes. "I swear most kids get this scar ! Me and a good number or my friends have the same scar above the eyebrow ! Hope she’s okay," one fan commented. "Oof. That’s a GASH! Poor thing. I hope she got all fixed up and y’all bought her some ice cream!!!" another said. "Aww bless her," a third wrote. "Hope she is feeling better soon and makes a quick recovery. So scary when our kiddies hurt themselves."

Gary definitely hasn't had it easy when it comes to family health struggles this year, considering both his mom and stepdad tested positive for coronavirus. That being said, it's so sweet to see how he's made his family's wellbeing his number one priority.
