Gossip Girl reboot takes us back to the Upper East Side with first look trailer of iconic teen show

The Good Place's Kristen Bell makes her return as the iconic voice of the teen drama, Gossip Girl, with an official teaser trailer for the show, which is premiering on HBO Max this July.

The highly anticipated release of the Gossip Girl reboot is set to premiere on HBO Max this July 8, and the streaming service has shared its first look trailer of the new ruling generation of the Upper East Side, on their social media accounts.

Kristen Bell will be returning as the iconic voice of the show, she previously narrated the original series for six seasons from 2007 to 2012, listen to her narrate the new teaser trailer below:

Though current plot details are still under wraps, the thing we do know about the current show is that the story will pick up “nine years after the original blogger’s website went dark”, and is set to explore how social media “and the landscape of New York itself” has changed in the intervening years. 

The cast for the new Gossip Girl includes Whitney Peak, Emily Alyn Lind, Evan Mock, Jordan Alexander, and Tavi Gevinson.

We cannot wait to meet the new Upper East Siders and this new trailer has made us even more excited for the Gossip Girl reboot. July 8 can't come soon enough!
