'The Bachelorette's Hannah Brown Defends 'Listen to Your Heart's Julia Rae After Facing Backlash for New Episode
It's not uncommon for contestants in the Bachelor franchise to receive some serious heat from viewers on social media, and this week, Julia Rae from The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart was the main target. The Pennsylvania native raised eyebrows during last night's episode, after she called out Savannah McKinley for apparently being "disingenuous" with Brandon Mills. It didn't take much for people to realize that it might've been because she still has feelings for Brandon.
People began voicing their opinions about Julia during the episode on Twitter, pointing out the fact that she was kind of being unfair to Sheridan Reed, who had his heart set on her from the premiere. See just a few of the tweets below.

Well, it turns out that former Bachelorette star Hannah Brown was also tweeting during the episode, and jumped to Julia's defense on the matter. "I’ve got a hot take that a lot of y’all aren’t gonna like, but I respect Julia. She speaks her truth and I respect that regardless if I always agree with what that is," the Alabama native wrote, adding in a follow-up tweet, "She’s emotional and I sometimes laugh when she cries (lol sorry Julia it’s just really entertaining) She makes some bad decisions over a dude who ain’t it. But I’ve been there, done all that."
Hannah then wrote in a third message, "Also I thinks she been pretty clear in the nicest way possible to Sheridan that she’s not all in and kinda feeling another dude. Sheridan is just not picking up what she’s putting down." Fortunately for Julia, she's got a very powerful Bachelor Nation star on her side, and the Listen to Your Heart contestant was quick to notice. She shared a screenshot of Hannah's tweet to her Instagram Story, writing, "Thank you @HannahBrown [heart emoji]."
