How 'Jessica Jones' Season 3 Pays Tribute to Late Stan Lee
By Shawnie Hamer
The comic book world endured a massive loss last year when writer, editor, publisher, and producer Stan Lee died from congestive heart failure in Los Angeles, California just about six weeks before his 96th birthday.
Since then, many shows and movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe have tried to pay homage to the man who helped build the comic book empire, and more importantly, the beloved characters.
Jessica Jones was the most recent of the Marvel projects to pay tribute to the legend, and they did so in a simple, yet touching way.
The Krysten Ritter-led series dropped its third and final season on Netflix this past Friday. Jessica Jones was the last of the group of Marvel shows on Netflix, following Daredevil, Iron Fist, and The Punisher getting axed. ComicBook.com reports that Jessica Jones concludes with a simple message: "In Loving Memory of Stan Lee."
The final season of Jessica Jones is now available on Netflix.
