Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry has been part of our lives since first appearing on MTV's 16 and Pregnant in 2010, and while she's faced ups and downs with fans of the series, she's proved to be the perfect amount of drama and entertainment we all love to see. In the most recent episode of TM2, the 26-year-old reality star was faced with trouble from ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera, who was seeking more child support.

Fans will remember Jo from 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom 2, as he was Kail's first baby daddy. They share son Isaac together, who is now nine years old. In the recent episode, we saw Jo requesting more than $1,000 per month in child support through Kailyn's lawyer, without speaking to her about it prior. Jo explained to his wife Vee that Kail claimed she would drop the child support he'd be paying for Isaac once they changed their custody agreement to 50/50, but she never did.

Money might actually be tight for Jo, as he's admitted he didn't have a job in the past and was relying solely on the MTV show for his income. While we're not sure if he's currently employed, he has pursued careers in real estate and even in rap music!

Kailyn expectedly was extremely angry when she found out about Jo's demands, and sought guidance from her lawyer about what to do. Ultimately, she found out that the maximum amount Jo could get from her per month for child support would be $2,300. The episode now has fans wondering why it's such a big deal for Kail to pay more money, considering she's a reality TV star. She has the funds, right?

According to CheatSheet, Kail actually has the most money out of all the Teen Mom 2 girls. In 2018, the star's net worth was reported to be about $200,000. This is due to the fact that outside of the show, Kail has written several books, including Pride Over Pity (2014), A Letter of Love (2018), and more. On top of that, she has her on podcast along with co-host Lindsie Chrisley called Coffee Convos, and recently launched a beauty line, Pothead Haircare.

All in all, Kailyn is doing pretty well financially, but we're sure just the fact that Jo did something behind her back was enough to make her angry.
