How Much Does the 'Geordie Shore' Cast Get Paid?
By Lillian Marx

Geordie Shore is still going strong nine years after it first premiered, and that means many of its stars have gigantic platforms to cash in on. According to RealityTitbit, cast members can make a lot of money from public appearances, especially when the show is airing. But the real jackpot is in Instagram promotion.
Back in the heyday of the show, Gaz Beadle told Heat Magazine that he made £2,000 ($2,457.49) for each of his public appearances. Considering he was doing nightclub promo four to six times per week, that number added up quick—to over £40,000 ($49,149.80) a month.
Of course, these deals were probably more lucrative then than they are now. But other avenues have opened up since Gaz’s first days on the Shore. In 2017, sponsored Instagram content was likely earning the series’ stars thousands of pounds a pop, according to The Tab. The site estimates that Gaz, for instance, could make £14,700 ($18,062.55) for a single post, potentially yielding him more than £400k ($491,498.00) per month. Meanwhile, Charlotte Crosby could leverage her 6 million followers to earn a whopping £26,100 ($32,070.24) per post.
Instagram has enabled the show's stars to promote their own brands, too, from Chloe Ferry Cosmetics to James Tindale’s fitness empire. That means that even while fans worry about what’s going on with the show's next season now that everyone's under coronavirus lockdown, you can rest assured that the Geordies aren’t having too much trouble staying paid.
