How One Line From 'Game of Thrones' Season 8 Premiere Might Hint at Daenerys' Death

The final season of Game of Thrones made its long-awaited debut on Sunday, and fans have spent the days since rewatching "Winterfell," the first episode in the final season, in order to analyze every single moment, looking for potential spoilers that will no doubt affect the finale. And more than one viewer took notice of a line of dialogue that might have foreshadowed the death of Daenerys Targaryen.
In the scene where Daenerys and Jon Snow go on a romantic dragon-riding date at the waterfall, the Mother of Dragons says, “We could stay a thousand years, no one would find us.” Redditor fanofthrones5555 points out how the line is extremely reminiscent of a scene Jon shared with his former love, the late Ygritte. During the cave scene from season 3, the Wildling told Jon, “Let’s not go back. I don’t ever want to leave this cave, Jon Snow.”

The line from the latest episode has convinced fans that since Ygritte said something very similar and was later killed, Daenerys will meet the same fate. We've got five more episodes to find out the truth.
