Fans of The Office know that Dwight Schrute, played by Rainn Wilson, wasn’t always the safest guy to be around. I mean, he was the happiest he had ever been when he shot a bazooka, for crying out loud. At one point in the nine-year series, he even helped send Stanley (Leslie David Baker) to the hospital in “Stress Relief: Part 1.” In "Stairmageddon," he also hit Stanley with three bull tranquilizing darts so he would join Dwight at a sales pitch.

While it’s a bit of a given that Schrute is a wild card, Elite Daily reports that Wilson wasn't completely harmless himself while filming.

According to the publication, Wilson sent Baker to the hospital for real while filming Season 3, Episode 23, “Beach Games,” which Wilson detailed in his 2015 book The Bassoon King: Art, Idiocy, and Other Sordid Tales from the Band Room. In the episode, the Dunder Mifflin gang heads to the beach for a team building day, but in reality, Michael Scott (Steve Carell) is using the event to decide who would replace him if he were to get a promotion in New York.

During filming for the field trip episode, Wilson accidentally kicked sand in the Stanley actor's eye. He was promptly rushed off to the hospital, and came away with a scratched cornea. Despite the injury, Baker was able to complete the episode. Luckily both Baker and Stanley survived the precarious mishaps of Dwight Schrute.
