How Scott Disick's Feelings for Kourtney Kardashian Reportedly Led to Sofia Richie Split
By Rachel Reed
As we all know, a "break" most often times becomes a breakup We also know that Kourtney Kardashian may always be Scott Disick's true boo. On some level, everyone kind of already knew that (or at least hoped!). After all, the pair were an on again, off again couple for well over a decade.
According to Us Weekly, Scott's lingering feelings for the Keeping Up With Kardashians star was one of the factors which led to the demise of his almost three-year relationship with Sofia Richie. A source for the publication explained:
“Scott is always going to be in love with Kourtney, and that’s something Sofia has had to face since even before she got serious with him. It’s been an ongoing thing. It just became more apparent that his family was more of a priority than she was, and his family would be his main priority over anything and anyone.”
The co-parents share three children and a lengthy past, full of rehab stints and multiple breakups. But for almost three years, Scott and Sofia seemed to have a good thing going on. Not to mention, that "good thing" included the reported approval of his three-time baby mama.
A source for Us Weekly also noted how some bonds are just unbreakable, however, adding, “A first love is not something you just wash away....The fact that he is the father of their three kids keeps them connected forever. Kourtney wants the best for Scott and knows they’ve been through the wringer together. She lets him in — but at an arm’s length.”
We'll see if this split for Scott and Sofia means that the real estate mogul will be back on with his "first love" or not.
