How to Watch a 'Captain Marvel' Deleted Scene Ahead of the Blu-Ray Release
By Ryan Carroll
Captain Marvel was a smash hit that paved the way for the blockbuster success of Avengers: Endgame. The movie was chock-full of moments that foreshadowed or set up future Marvel films, from the first assignment of Nick Fury and Phil Coulson to the origin of the Avengers’ team name.
But if you’re raring for more Captain Marvel content, pay attention: a list of several of the deleted scenes has been released, alongside one deleted scene that you can watch before the Blu-Ray release.
According to BGR, there will be at least six deleted scenes that feature moments such as a meeting between Yon-Rogg and the Supreme Intelligence, a session of banter between Carol Danvers and the other members of Starforce, an embarrassing situation with Phil Coulson and S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Keller, and more.
In a two-minute deleted scene made available to the public via YouTube, entitled Starforce Recruits, Carol and Yon-Rogg instruct a class of students on their mission to defend the universe from the Skrulls, setting up the conflict of the film. To watch the scene, click above.
Captain Marvel’s digital release will be May 28, with its Blu-ray release on June 11. We’re already excited to start revisiting our favorite moments from the film—and to see a few new ones.
