Fandom reports that Ellis was born on February 2, 1991, making him 29 years old. According to an interview with French Fries Magazine, he lived in the suburbs of New York until he was about 13, when his family moved to Connecticut. He enrolled in the University of Connecticut in 2013, but left after two years to pursue acting in Los Angeles.
