Although you may not recognize him without his luscious white-blonde locks, English actor Jason Isaacs portrayed Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter films. Watching Isaacs embody the sneering patriarch and loyal Death Eater was always thrilling because the actor is great at playing villains, and he knows it. As reported by ComicBook.com, the Hogwarts alum has voiced Satan in several video games and will even be voicing the villain in the upcoming animated film Scoob! However, one of his most menacing roles was a character in a galaxy far, far away.

Isaacs voiced The Grand Inquisitor in the animated series Star Wars Rebels, for which he was awarded the 2014 BTVA Award for Best Male Vocal Performance in a Television Series in a Supporting Role. In a recent interview with Collider (per ComicBook.com), when asked which of his animated roles he would like to play in live-action production, the Lucius Malfoy actor briefly reflected on his time with previous parts before revealing his answer.

"Well I did Superman in Superman: Red Son, which, who wouldn't want to fly?," Isaacs told Collider. "Although I suspect it's not actually that comfortable having watched them all do Quidditch, balancing on broomsticks. I've played Satan lots of times. I was in a Pixar film being a plane, that might be fun but back to flying again. I don't know, I've done so many animated [roles]. I was in Avatar, the series of Avatar [The Last Airbender]. Oh I know who I'd be, I'd be The Inquisitor [from] Star Wars Rebels."

His reasoning for the choice? "Because he has the coolest lightsaber in the entire Star Wars Universe," Isaacs added. Good call! The Inquisitor's lightsaber was double-bladed and featured a rotating mechanism that allows the user to fly upwards. Perhaps Isaacs will get his wish granted, as it was recently reported that the animated character Ahsoka Tano will be portrayed by Rosario Dawson in season two of The Mandalorian.
