Internet offers hilarious narrative following video interaction of Jeff Bezos' girlfriend with Leonardo Di Caprio

Social media is going wild over the video that recently emerged of Jeff Bezos' girlfriend, Lauren Sanchez talking to Leonardo DiCaprio! Sometimes imagination goes wild but the internet truly has the best response to the viral video, many social media users have come together to spin a hilarious narrative of a "feud" between the two men.

The clip is from Saturday's (Nov. 6) LACMA Art+Film Gala, and what got everyone talking was the interaction between Lauren Sanchez and Leonardo Di Caprio. In the video, originally posted by Variety's Marc Malkin, fans can see Bezos' girlfriend, Sanchez, standing in between the superstar and her boyfriend, leaning into the Oscar winner, looking up at him and smiling—essentially, exactly how we'd interact with him if we ever got the chance. 

Naturally, it didn't take long for the video to spread like wildfire, with fans commenting on their exchange. "Looks like Bezos's date rather be with Leo," a Twitter user quipped in a comment. 

Another replied, "Who doesn't!!!" 

Plenty more social media users joined in on the online chatter with one fan musing, "I guess we won't be seeing any of Leo's movies on prime," alluding to billionaire Jeff Bezos' Amazon Prime streaming service.

But it seems the billionaire saw the funny side of the narrative and posted his own response to the brewing "feud" on Monday, Nov. 8. He posted a photo of himself posing on a sign that read, "Danger! Steep Cliff Fatal Drop." 

"Leo, come over here," he tweeted. "I want to show you something… @LeoDiCaprio."
