Jenelle Evans Claims She's 'Waiting on Answers' From MTV About 'Teen Mom 2' Job
Jenelle Evans is keeping her fingers crossed that MTV is going to take her back, but it isn’t looking good.
The former Teen Mom 2 star answered questions on her Instagram Story this week, and was asked if she would be getting another job or going back school now that she is unemployed, Us Weekly reports. The 27-year-old reality TV star replied, “I’ve always had other jobs besides MTV, so I’ve always been working. I also have a lot of open opportunities but waiting on answers from my old job.” When asked what she meant by her old job, she responded, “MTV.”
The mom-of-three recently stated in an interview with People along with her husband, David Eason, that she is still under contract with the network, but that it is up in the air whether she would return to filming or not.
Evans was fired earlier this year after Eason killed their family dog, Nugget, alleging that he did it because the dog bit their two-year-old daughter, Ensley. The incident led to the couple temporarily losing custody of their children. For his part, Eason was fired prior to the death of Nugget, being let go in Feb. 2018 after a series of homophobic tweets.
After the interview with People, MTV reissued their original statement, reiterating that they had no intention of bringing the couple back to the series.
It look like Evans might be waiting for MTV’s phone call for a long time.
