Jenelle Evans' Makeup Line JE Cosmetics Reportedly Dropped by Manufacturer
Jenelle Evans seems to constantly be stuck between a rock and a hard place. After a year of chaos, she just can't get ahead. First, her husband, David Eason, shot and killed her dog. As a result, Child Protective Services (CPS) took their children from their home, and David and Jenelle went through rigorous court hearings to get them back. On top of that, Jenelle was fired from MTV's Teen Mom 2.
Since her income was taken away with her termination by MTV, Jenelle has been looking at other hustles to make up for the lost cash, and the most recent endeavor has been the launch of an eyebrow kit through JE Cosmetics.
Even that wasn't smooth sailing. The first venue that was going to host the launch party allegedly cancelled the event after animal rights activists protested the venue, so Jenelle made do with a hotel balcony in New York City.
Despite her wide fanbase and numerous followers on social media, sales of her eyebrow kit have allegedly been pitiful. According to RadarOnline, 3,000 kits were made, but only 150 sold.
And now, as reported by RadarOnline, Reddit user JennHatesYou uploaded a letter allegedly from the makeup manufacturers, XJ Beauty, informing the shopper that their contract with Jenelle was over. The Reddit user was asking for a refund for their eyebrow kit, claiming that the kit was contaminated.
The letter from XJ Beauty stated, "We have already cut the tie/ ended the business relationship with JE cosmetics. So XJ beauty has nothing to do with JE Cosmetics as of now."
It looks like Jenelle will have to find a new manufacturer and as of right now, the future of JE Cosmetics doesn't look too good.
