Jenelle Evans is serious about putting some space between herself and her estranged husband, David Eason. After reportedly moving with her children to Tennessee, the ex Teen Mom 2 star has apparently asked to have her restraining order extended.

According to Us Weekly, Jenelle sought out assistance from the Davidson County Clerk in Nashville to lengthen her temporary restraining order to last up until Jan. 13, 2020. On the date of its expiration, the exes are expected to return to court for further meetings with the judge.

Jenelle and David share a two-year-old daughter named Ensley. The TV personality also has two other children, Jace, 10, and Kaiser, five, from previous relationships.

While Jenelle was with David, it seemed that the internet loved to hate her and criticized her for her decision to stay married to a man with such an allegedly violent history. However, since her decision to leave David was made public, fans are thankfully flooding her social media pages with encouragement and praise.

Some people remain skeptical, assuming Jenelle publicly announced her separation from David in an effort to land a spot with MTV again. But one fan rightly pointed out that no one should care what her intentions are, as long as Jenelle and her kids remain safely away from him.

Other fans are praising Jenelle for publicly announcing her divorce because now she controls the story instead of letting David dictate the narrative. Whatever happens in the future, we hope she's able to stay away from her controversial ex.
