Jennifer Aydin has made a reputation as being quite the spitfire on Real Housewives of New Jersey. The 42-year-old reality star joined RHONJ for their 9th season in 2018. She is originally from Long Island but she's of Turkish descent, according to Famous Birthdays.

While Jennifer says that she's Turkish, her story of descent is a little more complicated than that. According to Newsday, she once explained, "I'm what's called Aramaean or some people like to say Assyrian...It's a lot easier for me to just say I'm Turkish." Jennifer's origin includes the Jewish people who settled in modern-day Syria.

Jennifer's father was a jeweler and when he retired, her brother took over the business. It makes sense why she is so into the glam life! Fans of the reality show know that the mom-of-five is married to Bill Aydin, a plastic surgeon, who recently performed a tummy tuck on her, a procedure Jennifer was sure to document on Instagram. The pair resides in Paramus, New Jersey.
