Jennifer Aydin of Real Housewives of New Jersey is taking "real" to a whole new level on Instagram. The 42-year-old reality star recently got a tummy tuck and documented the whole thing on social media.

To start, Jennifer posted that she's lost a lot of weight (as fans know) and needed surgery to get rid of the excess skin, according to Bravo. The mom-of-five also confirmed that her husband Bill Aydin, a plastic surgeon, was the one doing the procedure. She explained she discussed having it done with him and he convinced her, saying in her caption, “'No one will ever look after you, take the meticulous time necessary, and go above and beyond for you the way I will...' And he’s right. Not only [a]m I smitten, but I was sold."

I’ve decided to let you guys in on a personal decision that I’ve been contemplating with ever since I had my fifth child. A tummy tuck. It wasn’t an easy decision. To be honest, I was scared, scared to bite the bullet and actually do what I said I was going to do all these years. You know how sometimes we just talk shit. But for me, Especially now, since I’ve lost so much weight, I have a lot of excess loose skin that can only be removed with surgery. You may wonder how I can have my husband, someone so personal to me, do this invasive procedure. It’s not about the cost. Thank God, I have the blessings to go to any doctor I want. And I’ve talked about this with him thoroughly , and do you know what he tells me? “No one will ever look after you, take the meticulous time necessary, and go above and beyond for you the way I will...” And he’s right. Not only Am I smitten,but I was sold. He is the only one I want to do this for me. I will keep you posted on my recovery and feel free to ask as many questions as you want. Jennifer's husband was true to his word. The rest of her documentation was him taking super good care of her, as she wrote alongside one post, "My husband is the best, my kids are the best, and it’s really important to have a good support system in place when recovering through such a traumatic surgery."

Jennifer's fans have been amazingly supportive and really into the whole process alongside her. If there were any negative comments, the Bravo star's fans shut the whole thing down without her needing to do a thing! One person wrote, "I mean if my husband was a plastic surgeon I would be getting stuff done too. Everyone on here saying a negative comment would, they just don’t want to admit it!" Good point!
