Jonathan Cheban Defends Tristan Thompson While Explaining Their Recent Dinner With Kim Kardashian

It looks like Tristan Thompson is making his way back into the Kardashian-Jenner clan...whether Khloé likes it or not.

We all know by now that Tristan doesn't have the best track record with the famous family, after cheating on KoKo multiple times, even allegedly once with family friend Jordyn Woods. But fans are also aware that the 35-year-old Good American co-founder always puts their daughter, True, first, meaning she has to remain civil with the NBA star. But now, other people in the clan are surprisingly vouching for Tristan, too.

On his new podcast, Foodgod: OMFG, family friend Jonathan Cheban opened up on their status with the 28-year-old athlete. According to Yahoo!, the food connoisseur explained why he and Kim were recently spotted out to dinner with Tristan in New York City, defending him in the process.

"We were having dinner," Jonathan recalled. "I don't know exactly what happened but Tristan did come in the middle of the dinner. And you know what, I'm probably gonna get a lot of crap for it, but I like the guy. I like his vibe. I could hang out with him and go to the mall with him."

Jonathan refused to discuss the cheating scandal further, continuing, "I don't want anything to do with that. It's none of my f**king business. All I know is, that yes, we were there. I know there was a picture of us eating on TMZ, so it's no secret that he did come in the middle of it…Kim was there."

Kim's BFF then went on to hype up Tristan even more, adding:

"If that didn't happen, I think that him and Khloé are a dope couple. The baby is cute. What I am saying, as a person, not what he did, I like his vibe. I like hanging out with him. He's just so funny, he knows everything…I know he, obviously, loves the daughter."

Hm... Jonathan certainly has a lot to say for someone who apparently doesn't want to get in the middle of it. And according to Yahoo!, he even concluded the topic by stating he hopes Tristan and Khloé can get back together! Big. Yikes.
