Josh Peck Cast as Lead in 'Turner & Hooch' Reboot for Disney+

Funny guy Josh Peck is headed to the House of Mouse!

The 33-year-old actor, best known for his role in Nickelodeon's fan-favorite series Drake and Josh, has been cast as the lead in a major reboot coming to Disney+. As reported by Deadline, Peck will play U.S. Marshal Scott Turner in the new version of Turner & Hooch. The original detective comedy from 1989 starred Academy Award winner Tom Hanks.

Matt Nix will serve as writer/executive producer for the reboot, with Josh Levy as co-executive producer. No other cast members have been announced.

Among the many reboots coming to Disney+ include a Lizzie McGuire series starring Hilary Duff, Home Alone, The Little Mermaid, and many more. At the streaming service's premiere, a reboot of Lady and the Tramp also debuted. Fans of '80s, '90s, and early 2000s are in for some serious nostalgia to come. The new Turner & Hooch does not have a release date yet.
