Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin's Celibacy: The Couple Reveal They Waited to Have Sex

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin have definitely had a whirlwind romance, and I think I speak for most people when I say I'm surprised they actually made it this far together. But after their cover story for Vogue, out today, it's now obvious how great they actually are together. The brutally honest interview touches on many sensitive topics, such as Justin's past drug use and Hailey feeling lonely once they got married. But the pair truly shocked us in the story when they spoke about their sex life.

As Justin was coming off a few extremely tough years, full of a DUI, being caught in a brothel, and various offenses, he admitted he was actually practicing celibacy for over a year when he got together with Hailey again last June. The singer revealed he once had "a legitimate problem with sex" and stopped cold turkey in the name of God.

"[God] doesn’t ask us not to have sex for him because he wants rules and stuff,” Justin explained. "He’s like, I’m trying to protect you from hurt and pain. I think sex can cause a lot of pain. Sometimes people have sex because they don’t feel good enough. Because they lack self-worth." So he and Hailey waited until marriage, which he sees as a great thing.

"And I believe that God blessed me with Hailey as a result. There are perks. You get rewarded for good behavior," Justin shared. As Vogue mentions, many believed the couple rushed to get married because they thought Hailey might've been pregnant. And while Justin revealed sex was one reason they wanted to get married, it wasn't the main thing.

"When I saw her last June, I just forgot how much I loved her and how much I missed her and how much of a positive impact she made on my life," Justin sweetly stated. "I was like, Holy cow, this is what I’ve been looking for." That's adorable.

No matter what some might think about Justin, we think he's 100% on the right track now with Hailey.
