Kailyn Lowry Finally Just Fully Responded to Those Leah Messer Romance Rumors During Her Podcast

Teen Mom 2 stars Kailyn Lowry and Leah Messer attended the MTV VMAs in August and took to Instagram and Twitter with suggestive hints that they had become a couple. The posts were really just clickbait, as many fans discovered, but it led to further speculation about the truth of their relationship. Fans know this is hardly the first time the ladies sparked a conversation on whether or not they're more than friends.

However, Kailyn finally just cleared the air on her Coffee Convos podcast. According to The Ashley, the mom-of-three explained, "I would never [date Leah]! She’s like one of my best friends. We have become so close, I would never want to ruin that."

When asked what MTV would think about the relationship, Kailyn said, "I think MTV would lose their s**t if Leah and me actually dated. I texted [Leah] yesterday…and I was like, 'We might as well just get married.' And she was like, 'Yeah, doesn’t everyone want to marry their best friend?'"

Kailyn's friend, Becky Hayter, was on the podcast with her and claimed that if they dated, it would end in a disaster. “You destroy anything you get!,” she said. Um, ouch!

Kail has been open about her bisexuality but said she was unsure if her co-star had ever dated a woman. But for the time being, it doesn't matter, because Kailyn and Leah remain best friends and nothing more!
