Kailyn Lowry Seemingly Responds to Leah Messer Romance Rumors With 'Best Friend' Post

We can ship Teen Mom 2 stars Kailyn Lowry and Leah Messer all we want, but the two might finally be making it clear that they are best friends and nothing more.

Romance rumors were sparked once again between the two TV personalities this week when the ladies hit the town for the 2019 MTV VMAs together. Fans were especially curious after Lowry posted a picture of the Messer wearing her coat with the caption, “When she’s cold, give her your jacket.”

I mean, it is basically part of dating rules 101.

However, Lowry seemingly shut down the rumors yesterday with a sweet and subtle Instagram post that might remind everyone that the two are just BFFs. When posting a pic of her and Messer from the VMAs, she added the caption, “This girl has become one of my best friends & I wouldn’t have it any other way! We were a mess last night but we shall redeem ourselves.”

Messer commented on the photo, “& you’re one of my best friends! We definitely needed each other in this life! I love you so much! We will redeem ourselves but until then... it’s memories biiiii!-Xx.”

Though there are undoubtedly some disappointed fans (they would be the cutest little family), it is nice to see two Teen Mom stars have such a special bond.
