Kailyn Lowry Slams Javi Marroquin and Lauren Comeau on 'Coffee Convos' Podcast
Teen Mom 2's Javi Marroquin just announced that he and girlfriend, Lauren Comeau, got engaged. Just days prior to the big news, his ex-wife, Kailyn Lowry, used her podcast Coffee Convos to vent about how she really feels on the couple.
According to PopCulture.com, Lowry vented to Lindsie Chrisley, co-host of the podcast, saying, "I’m annoyed with how much they try to push Lauren on me."
Lindsie also weighed in on the subject, stating:
“I kind of don’t understand, and this is going to be probably the first time that I’ve ever said this on the podcast, cause I’ve tried to just stay neutral, but Lauren is not a teen mom. And I feel like it’s trying to be brought into the show that [son Eli] is part of this, like, she’s now one of the moms, and it was brought into the reunion about his birth and all that — and that’s good and great, I understand that’s one of Javi’s other kids."
Chrisley and Lowry explained that Lauren has expressed her desire to not be a part of the show and yet posts ads on Instagram, receiving financial compensation that comes largely from her affiliation with Teen Mom 2. Lowry said, “I hope she loves the check from the platform we’ve given her."
Part of the problem is that Comeau has Lowry's son, whom she shares with Javi, in her ads. Lowry shared:
“Well, that’s when I messaged her myself and said, ‘Do not put my son in any of your ads.’ If my sons are in any of my ads online, they’re getting a fee for that. My kids get paid to be in my ads. So you’re sure as s— not going to turn it around and do a $200 post and use my kid for free. That’s not the way this works.”
Marroquin and Comeau have yet to respond to these comments, but Javi posted a very affectionate message on Instagram announcing their engagement yesterday. The father also addressed whether or not he'd be telling Kail about the engagement, telling The Hollywood Gossip: "I don’t know if Lincoln is going to spill the beans. But there’s no need to tell Kail. Me and Lauren have our own relationship so there’s no need to."
