Kendall Jenner's Alleged Stalker Reportedly Released From Jail
By Olivia Montine
When you're as famous as Kendall Jenner, you're bound to get into some undesirable situations when it comes to fans and privacy.
The model was allegedly faced with a stalker, John Ford, who entered her property four times within the course of three months. Jenner was only home for one of the incidents, and luckily her security guards on her property were able to intervene before anything happened.
After he was caught, Ford pleaded guilty to two counts of trespassing and received a 180-day county jail sentence and restraining order that said he had to stay 1,000 yards away from Jenner's residence.
Following the incidents and trial Jenner was then granted a five-year restraining order saying that Ford was not allowed to be on Jenner's property, within 100 feet of her, or have any sort of direct or indirect contact with her.
Even though Ford only served 90 of the 180 days of his sentence, E! News confirmed that the man had been released from jail on Feb. 22.
Jenner had previously stated that, "As a result of Mr. Ford's repeated stalking, I have suffered, and continue to suffer, emotional distress."
We're glad the star is safe and that the issue has been resolved, as well as hopeful Ford stays away.
