“Everyone wanted to have Kenya back, but they wanted to have the old Kenya back — the one who isn’t afraid of the cameras. You can’t have secrets and be on reality TV. Especially when other Housewives are showing all of their lives — the good, bad, and the ugly. They need to see your life.”

However, thankfully, her break from the series did not last long, as it was announced in July of this year that Kenya would be back for Season 12.

In Nov. 2018, Kenya gave birth to her first child, a baby girl named Brooklyn Doris Daly, with then-husband Marc Daly. The reality star often shares photos of her daughter on social media, showing off their cute activities.

Kenya married Marc Daly back in June 2017 and were together until September of this year. At the time, the RHOA star released a statement to US Weekly, reading:

“It is with profound sadness that I regret to inform my fans that I am divorcing my husband, Marc Daly. Due to recent and ongoing circumstances, I can no longer continue in the marriage. My sole concern and focus is and will always be my daughter, Brooklyn, my miracle baby. She was made in love and true commitment. I ask for our privacy to be respected moving forward.”
