Khloe Kardashian approves ex Tristan Thompson's birthday tribute to 'future lawyer' Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian turns 41 today (Oct 21) and her famous family and friends flooded social media with sweet tributes and throwback with the SKIMS founder for her birthday. But one particular person who surprised social media users with a tribute to the mom of four was Khloe Kardashian's ex, and baby daddy, Tristan Thompson!

As many would still recall, Khloe and Tristan broke up earlier this year, after giving their relationship another go over lockdown, due to another round of cheating allegations being made against the basketball player.

So many fans were pretty baffled when they saw that the Sacramento Kings basketball player post a message to Kim, and even more so when Khloe Kardashian commented her approval of the post.

Tristan penned on Instagram, "Happy Birthday to my future lawyer @kimkardashian??, you’ve inspired a whole generation with your hard work, dedication and efforts. Soo proud of everything you’ve accomplished and it’s only the beginning. You got this Keeks! Enjoy your day!"

And it seemed Khloe Kardashian approved the sweet tribute as she wrote in response, "Beautifully said! She deserves all the praise in the world."

Needless to say, this interaction sparked many questions in the comments section, with many fans wondering if a potential reunion is on the cards again. "Wait, hold up. What's going on here? ?," a confused Instagram user wrote in response to Tristan's post, with a second adding, "Ummmm am I missing something? Are they back on talking terms???".

While a third simply wrote, "PLEASE NO @khloekardashian ".
