Khloé Kardashian Defends Having a Get-Together With the Family After She Encouraged Social Distancing
Lines are being blurred when it comes to the COVID-19 safety guidelines and suggestions put in place across the country, and Khloé Kardashian is here to remind her fans that she's still taking social distancing seriously.
Seemingly in celebration of Scott Disick's birthday yesterday, some of the Kardashian-Jenner family members got together to wish commemorate the special day (although reports say Scott was off vacationing with Kourtney to celebrate). As KoKo shared videos and pictures of the cousins together to social media, fans started raising their eyebrows on whether or not the move was safe. And because Khloé has often encouraged her fans to continue social distancing on her page, they were also seemingly confused at her change of heart.
Well, when one person questioned the get-together and Khloé's intentions on the fan page @DashKids, she was quick to come back with an explanation, assuring her followers that she was "not even trying to be rude" when clapping back. It all started when an Instagram user wrote, "I find it funny that Khloé just posted about social distancing but they are all [at] a party for Scott's bday [emoji]." The Good American co-founder commented back, "They are all cousins. So we know how they have been quarantined and there's less than 10 people with us. It's literally what the governor states is perfectly ok to do in the state of CA."
When fans came to Khloé's side to "forget about" those criticizing her, she came back with another explanation, writing, "Not even trying to be rude. Drives me wild when people act as if they know. Of course we want to protect ourselves. Simply for the sake of our angels, not to mention our own health. But it's human nature I guess [emojis]. anyways... sending you my love [emojis]." To her point, her videos didn't look like a full-on party with tons of people was happening, just a small gathering. And Khloé was obviously very sure to clarify that!
