Killer Frost Rumored to Be Featured in James Gunn's 'Suicide Squad' Film
By Kwadar Ray
With James Gunn's rehiring at Disney dominating headlines, a few fans were afraid that the director would leave his role for DC's The Suicide Squad. But alas, the Guardians mainstay will continue to work on the next Suicide Squad film, and in fact, he'll finish it before filming the Marvel Studios flick.
There's still a ton of questions surrounding The Suicide Squad. While we've heard rumors Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn will make her return, there's still massive question marks looming over the film.
Rumors have been circulating about new characters possibly appearing in the upcoming movie, including supervillains King Shark, Polka-Dot Man, Ratcatcher and Peacemaker.
A new rumor surfaced this past week regarding another villain joining the fray. Discussing Film reports that Killer Frost, one of DC's strongest villains, might be a part of the Suicide Squad team.
The character is currently being portrayed Danielle Panabaker in CW's Arrowverse as a superhero in The Flash. Many fans on social media have expressed their displeasure with the possibility of Killer Frost being killed off in the TV series for The Suicide Squad.
But once again, this is just a rumor. There's honestly no telling what Gunn is planning for the film. The Suicide Squad is set for an Aug. 6, 2021 theatrical release.
