Why Kim Kardashian is Facing Backlash After She Asks Followers Not to Judge Her 'Pale' Hands

The Kardashian-Jenner family have long been criticized for darkening their skin color, and Kim's latest video revealed just how much tanner she really goes.

In a video on her Instagram Story, the mom-of-four was seen applying her KKW Beauty Soulmate Lip Gloss, but realized her hand didn't match her foundation color while doing so. "Don't judge me for my pale hand," she wrote alongside the clip. Unfortunately, plenty of judgement fell Kim's way anyhow. In fact, some people on Twitter are livid. Seeing as Kim's foundation was significantly darker than her actual skin tone, they found it ridiculous that she was acting as though her hands shouldn't be her light, natural color, and some even accused her of blackface.

Many took to social media to share a screenshot of the video and add their two cents.

A similar instance occurred back in December, when the reality star shared photos from a shoot with 7Hollywood Magazine. Kim graced the cover of the glossy mag, but she looked bronzer than ever, and was accused of being problematic and racially insensitive. At the time, one person tweeted, "I was like why people mad about this black model and i find out this IS KIM KARDASHIAN WHAT IN THE BLACKFACE."

The KarJenner ladies are always under public scrutiny for one thing or another, but this time around, there's no doubt internet users have a valid point.
