Kim Kardashian Celebrates International Women's Day by Posing With Ladies Who Had Prison Sentences Commuted
When Kim Kardashian West shared some photos for International Women's Day, she praised "all the strong women out there." While her words show support for women, her actions are speaking even louder. The Skims founder is doing amazing work with people unjustly imprisoned and is skillfully navigating the field with Donald Trump to make things happen.
In the series of photos she posted a day late, she included a shot of herself standing with six other women and said that they were ladies she particularly "looks up to." She also shared that the pic includes lawyers Jessica Jackson and Erin Haney, as well as Crystal Munoz, Tynice Nichole Hall, and Judith Negron.
Also in the photo is Alice Johnson, who had her sentence commuted in 2018. In fact, all four of these women had their sentences commuted thanks to Kim working with Trump and his son-in-law Jared Kushner. Her goal, as ET reminds readers, is to "free non-violent offenders and push for criminal justice reform."
While Kim continues to pursue her law degree, she's clearly not waiting to get involved in prison reform work. It's truly inspiring to see this and watch her use her power as a celebrity to make such impressive changes for the better!
