Kim Kardashian Defends Her Choice to Become a Lawyer Amid Criticism
By Rachel Reed
Kim Kardashian West has completed her first year of law school and continues to fight the good fight. However, some critics still don't take the extremely famous reality star's career change seriously.
According to USA Today, Kim couldn't be more serious about becoming a lawyer and she's making a strong case for herself. The businesswoman told reporters at the Television Critics Association that the process can be "exhausting" and "frustrating," but added, "I know that we can make a difference, and so all the criticism in the world will not deter me from what I want to do."
She went on to make another fair point; Kimmy is no stranger to constant criticism. The trolls hating on another one of her choices is nothing new. Touché.
For those who must see it to believe it, Kim's upcoming documentary The Justice Project is on the way. It will follow four cases that she feels illuminate greater injustices within the system. USA Today notes that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star also shut down rumors that all of this is a publicity stun, saying her efforts to help are not about being in the public eye, but rather looking to the future.
Whether it's velvet-wrapped gifts or a law degree, Kim is going to do whatever she wants. So if Mrs. Kardashian West wants to try and make the world a better place, her critics don't have to believe her. But they won't be stopping her either.
