This is by no means the first time a Kardashian has gotten some heat over allegedly Photoshopping a social media post. But this week, one of Kim Kardashian's most recent photos on Instagram is getting some comments from fans, accusing her of overusing the editing app Facetune.

The photos above, taken by her daughter, North, have fans wondering what's going on, as reported by Cosmopolitan. One comment read: "What in the [F]acetune hell is this." Another said, "Facetune has joined the chat."

A third comment (and I'm inclined to agree here) said: "They all have the same face!!!!" Either everyone contoured their noses in the exact same way or there's something fishy going on with edits.

An article by The Guardian talks about the phenomenon of Facetune, a relatively new app that is more precise than, say, Snapchat filters but much easier to use than professional Photoshop tools. There are different options, like "heal" to eliminate a spot or "smooth" to perfect skin or even an option called "detail" to make colors more vibrant. The point of Facetune is that no one should know it was used, but this delicate balance is tough to achieve.

Kim's friend Chrissy Teigen tweeted about Facetune previously, sharing her mixed feelings towards the app, and joking that only she can use it but also restating the fact that imperfections are what make us human.

It's a tough call. A little help perfecting a photo can be awesome, but when does it go too far? Are apps like Facetune creating one definition of beauty and eliminating our appreciation for a more diverse aesthetic? Maybe. At least without such heavy editing, people don't look exactly the same in a photo, Kim!
