Kim Kardashian has Marilyn Monroe 2.0 moment with second iconic dress

Kim Kardashian has revealed the second Marilyn Monroe dress that she acquired as a backup contender for her red carpet appearance at the 2022 Met Gala but did not end up wearing the gorgeous frock.

On Friday, Kim shared unseen pictures of her wearing a green sparkling Norman Norell number that the Some Like It Hot movie star had worn to the Golden Globes in 1962, and posed with the actual trophy that Marilyn received for "World Film Favorite."

The 41-year-old reality star ultimately chose to attend fashion's biggest night wearing the beaded Jean Louis gown that Marilyn wore when she famously sang Happy Birthday to President John F. Kennedy in 1962 - sparkling backlash after she admitted to losing 16lbs in just three weeks to fit into it. 

In a video posted by Ripley's Believe It or Not! earlier this week, Kim was heard talking about the back-up option of the green dress as she struggled to fit the Jean Louis piece around her famously large derriere, and was forced to keep the back of it open.
