Kim Kardashian Officially Announces Upcoming Documentary on Prison Reform
By Ryan Carroll

Like all the members of her family, Kim Kardashian is involved in a wide variety of ventures, from fashion to cosmetics to advocacy. On Saturday, she officially announced that she’d be making a foray into a much different sort of project: a documentary on her prison reform advocacy, entitled Kim Kardashian West: The Justice Project.
According to Refinery29, The Justice Project will premiere on the Oxygen network and will chart Kardashian’s recent endeavor to secure prison reform and advocate on behalf of incarcerated individuals. The documentary will, in part, center around her visit to a Washington, D.C. prison in order to learn more about the Georgetown Prison Scholars program, which provides university courses to prisoners.
We filmed a documentary I am working on that will be out on @oxygen and I hope you will learn about the justice system the way I have.

Though there has been no official release date announced, a representative for Oxygen said that the series would offer “an exclusive, never-before-seen look inside her mission to tackle one of America's most controversial subjects.”
Kardashian has been closely involved with the criminal justice process, working to become a lawyer and successfully advocating for the release of prisoners facing life sentences or on death row.
Last week I was so moved by Dr. Marc Howard, a Georgetown professor who teaches a course inside of a DC prison where men & women can get Georgetown credits. I met so many amazing people that can’t wait to share their stories with you. pic.twitter.com/xxmnIPFy7j
