Kim Kardashian Opens Up on Paris Robbery in Sentimental Post

In honor of this year's upcoming Paris Fashion Week, Kim Kardashian opened up about a detail of her terrifying gunpoint robbery when she was in Paris for the same semiannual event in Oct. 2016.

"So this necklace that I have on is a diamond cross from Jacob and it was the first piece of jewelry that I bought when I got my first check,” the 38-year-old reality TV star shared on Instagram. The "Jacob" Kardashian West is referencing is the jeweler whom she bought the piece from. “When I was at robbedd [sic] this was taken from me. However on the way out the robbers dropped one piece of jewelry in the street and this was it. It’s very sentimental to me. Just wanted to share."

Kardashian West was gagged, held at gunpoint, and robbed of over $10 million worth of valuables when she was in her Paris hotel room. Ten people have been charged and multiple have been arrested in response to the events.

The event was traumatizing for Kim, as she has expressed on her show and through interviews since the events unfolded, saying how she has changed her lifestyle following the robbery.
