Kim Kardashian Reportedly Sued by Photographer Who Claims She Stole His Photo
Kim Kardashian just wanted to show her hubby, Kanye West, a little love, but instead she might have to pay out a lot of dough instead.
TMZ reports that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is being sued by photographer Saeed Bolden, who says the businesswoman used an image he snapped of Kim and Kanye at Nas' album release party without his permission. The image gained over two million likes and thousands of comments, and now Bolden believes he should be paid for it.
While lots of people snap lots of photos of the famous couple, this one is believed to be particularly unique, as Kanye is smiling big and bright. Though it is unclear how much Bolden believes the image is worth, he is reportedly suing both Kim and her SKIMS account (which is linked to her personal Instagram) for any profits plus punitive damages.
What is even more bizarre is that the KKW Beauty founder posted the picture in Oct. 2018—which in Kardashian-Jenner social media time is, like, light-years ago. There is always a possibility Bolden just found out about the image, but this seems rather unlikely.
It’s a good thing that Kim and Kanye know how to handle these situations. Let’s face it, this is far from Kim's first lawsuit, and it definitely won’t be her last.
