Kim Kardashian Reveals She Bought Another Item of Michael Jackson's for Daughter North

North West's Christmas presents have been a mixed bag this year, to say the least.

First, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West gifted their six-year-old daughter one of Michael Jackson's famous jackets. But the over the top gifts (with even bigger price tags) didn't stop there. She also surprised her eldest with the King of Pop's hat. And it's not just any hat.

Brace yourself. Kim gave North the original "Smooth Criminal" hat, makeup residue and all, reports Yahoo!. She purchased the one-of-a-kind Michael memorabilia at an auction. The mom-of-four claims that her daughter is "a really big Michael Jackson fan.”

Kim shared a shot of the iconic fedora on her Instagram Story with the caption, "Along with jacket, North also got Michael's Smooth Criminal hat. It still has his make up on it."

Then she shared a closeup of the brim, revealing both his name and makeup smudge.

These extravagant purchases come at a pretty controversial time. Jackson is even more divisive since the release of the HBO documentary Leaving Neverland. Still, the Kardashian-Wests are not strangers to media controversy or haters having one too many opinions about how they spends their millions. The hat is undeniably a piece of pop history, but whether or not this gift was a good idea for her six-year-old daughter is still up for debate.
