Kim Kardashian Says She 'Started Crying' Last Time She Saw OJ Simpson

Kim Kardashian just opened up about her very "emotional" experience the last time she saw OJ Simpson.

According to Us Weekly, Kim made a guest appearance on Jonathan Cheban's podcast "FoodGod: OMFG," where Cheban brought up Simpson's relationship with the Kardashians. Kim's late father, Robert Kardashian, was one of Simpson's lawyers in his 1995 murder trial. Cheban explained that he had run into the former athlete, recalling, "The first thing he asks is about you guys, like, 'How are the girls? How's everybody?'" Cheban then asked Kim, "Like, have you ever seen him before?"

Kim answered, "I think the last time I saw him was in Miami. It was before he had gone to jail this, you know, last situation," referring to Simpson's nine years in prison from 2008-2017. She went on to explain:

"I think me, Kourtney and Khloé were in Miami in a club and we ran into him in the VIP section. It was behind a stage or something. I don't even know what club it was at. I started crying. It was emotional, I think."

The 38-year-old star added that she doesn't speak much about Simpson's murder trial even though her father was on the case as a defense attorney. But she said that Simpson's kids "are all so amazing."

"I'm still somewhat friendly with his children," Kim shared. "I don't really talk to them, but I did connect with his son a few years back and I just have respect for them. Their lives must be extremely hard to really go through that. So I always try to keep myself on that issue and not bring anything up for them because, you know, every time someone does it's super traumatic."

Earlier this year, Simpson posted a video on Twitter in which he referred to Robert Kardashian and the family by saying, "All the girls, I'm very proud of, just like I know Bob would be if he was here."

We understand the whole situation must be very hard for the Kardashians to process and maneuver.
