Kim Kardashian Starring in Her Own Documentary 'The Justice Project' on Oxygen
Kim Kardashian has years of experience working in TV, but her next project will be quite a departure from Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
The 38-year-old reality star is set to star in a two-hour documentary on Oxygen, according to E! News, currently with the working title Kim Kardashian: The Justice Project. Based on the name alone, we can expect it to follow the star's journey in the fight for prison reform.
And it looks like that's right. The publication reports that a press release for the series promises the documentary will be "an exclusive, never before seen look inside her mission to tackle on of America's most controversial subjects."
Kim is currently studying to become a lawyer, a career move she chose to pursue after becoming heavily involved in improving the criminal justice system. Since convincing Donald Trump to grant Alice Marie Johnson, a grandmother serving a life sentence for a nonviolent crime, clemency, the star has worked tirelessly on helping other people who are imprisoned. According to TMZ in a report today, Kim, along with her legal team, has helped free 17 inmates in the last three months or so.
We're incredibly proud of Kim in her latest journey, and can't wait to see all the inner-workings of what exactly she does when the documentary premieres. Kim Kardashian: The Justice Project doesn't have a release date yet.
