Kit Harington Forced to Reenact 'Game of Thrones' Scenes in 'Saturday Night Live' Promo
By Hannah Wigandt
Kit Harington will make his Saturday Night Live debut as the host this Saturday, April 6, and he’s already having fun making jokes at his Game of Thrones character Jon Snow’s expense. Alongside SNL comedian Leslie Jones, Harington reenacts a few classic scenes from the beloved series in a new promo for the episode.
The video starts off with the hilarious Jones having a little too much fun in her own versions of Hodor, the Night King, and Daenerys Targaryen. Sitting on a throne with a blonde wig, she tells Harington, “I assume my lord that you are here to bend the knee. The 32-year-old actor, wearing a makeshift Jon costume complete with oven mitts, responds, “I am not.” He then breaks character and asks Jones what they’re doing. “Is this even for the show?” he asks.
Before Harington can escape, Leslie forces him to recreate Cersei Lannister’s walk of shame, complete with blonde wig and a nude suit, all the while having donuts being thrown at him.
This promo only confirms what we were expecting for Saturday’s episode--many Game of Thrones skits are coming.
