Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick Jet Off to Costa Rica Without Sofia Richie

With the emergence of the Tristan Thompson/Jordyn Woods cheating scandal on this and next Sunday’s episodes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, it’s shaping up to be a hectic and turbulent week for the family. Several members, however, have elected to briefly step away from the drama: Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick, who this week are taking a vacation in Costa Rica.

On Wednesday, according to PopSugar, Kardashian and Disick were spotted on a beach in Costa Rica with their children--Mason, nine, Penelope, six, and Reign, four--as well as Kim Kardashian-West’s daughter North. Not in attendance, notably, was Disick’s current girlfriend, 20-year-old Sofia Richie.

Kardashian and Disick dated on-and-off for eleven years, and though they finally broke it off in 2017, they have retained an amicable relationship (which Kardashian says is one of her proudest accomplishments), taking vacations together and remaining involved in each others’ lives. In May, she commented in an interview that “I don’t think we’ll go on every trip together, but I love that I’m invited.”

Disick also remains connected to the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner family, appearing on KUWTK and retaining close friendships with sisters like Khloé Kardashian and Kendall Jenner. He has also clarified that Richie is understanding of his relationship with Kardashian, and has said that “Sofia knows that we’re raising three kids together and until our kids are 100, I’ll still be making sure that Kourtney and my kids are a priority in my life.”

As for us, we’re glad to see that Scott, Kourtney, and Sofia are all getting along--it’s good to have some Kardashian family harmony in the face of all the other turmoil. Now we're just wondering why the model didn't attend the latest family trip.
