Kourtney Kardashian Reveals the One Thing She'll 'Never Apologize for' When it Comes to Her Kids
Kourtney Kardashian is no stranger to the sad world of mommy-shaming online. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has received flack from followers for almost everything she's chosen to do with her children, including traveling with them when people assumed they should be in school, and choosing not to cut her son Reign's hair.
So in this climate of unsolicited parenting opinions, it must get exhausting to navigate the world of sharing one's life online and dealing with feedback that ranges from critical to hateful. And this week, Kourtney was a guest on Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's Rose Inc, where she spoke about her lifestyle, beauty, and briefly her kids.
When asked, "What will you never apologize for?" The Poosh founder answered, "Kissing my kids on the lips."
That's such a sweet answer! Kourtney, who is mother to Mason, 10, Penelope, seven, and Reign, five, also discussed the opinions she receives online in more depth, explaining:
"I really try to not give energy to things that aren’t worthy of my energy. Once in a while, I may respond to a negative comment for fun, or if something really does bother me I definitely have the platform to correct it… but I usually don’t think twice. No matter what it is that I am doing, someone has something to say, good or bad. The worst, though, is when people I don’t know give unsolicited parenting advice. No one knows my kids better than me, I’ve got this, I’m good, thanks."
It's so impressive to see Kourtney moving forward as a mom, despite the negative feedback she receives on social media. It's clear she's using her energy to focus on the amazing life in front of her, including her three adorable children!
