Kylie Jenner is No Longer the Highest-Paid Celebrity on Instagram
The Kardashians love a good sponsored post on Instagram. Whether it be for hair care vitamins, teeth whitening products, or clothing companies, members of the family make some serious money by promoting merchandise online. According to Just Jared, each one of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters earns over half a million dollars from a single sponsored post. Imagine making so much money just by posting on your Instagram account!
Each one of the Kardashian-Jenners has millions, in some cases hundreds of millions, of followers on Instagram, so it makes sense that they are some of the top earners from sponsored content. When it comes to beauty and fashion, Kardashian approval is law, so companies are willing to dish out some serious funds to promote their brand on a widely regarded platform.
Previously, Kylie Jenner has ranked as the highest-paid celebrity on Instagram. Just Jared indicates that Kylie makes around $986,000 per post. That figure is significantly higher than the earnings per post of her sisters, with Kim Kardashian making $858,000, Kendall Jenner and Khloé Kardashian raking in $608,000, and Kourtney Kardashian earning $514,000 per post. However, it looks like Kylie's reign as the highest-paid celeb on the platform has come to an end.
That's right, Dwayne Johnson, also known as The Rock, has toppled the Kardashian-Jenner reign! Johnson, who has 190 million followers on Instagram, makes a reported $1,015,000 per sponsored post. If anyone was going to triumph over the Kardashians' money monopoly, The Rock wouldn't have been my first guess, but it definitely makes sense. Kylie, meanwhile, has been getting stripped of her titles left and right. She was previously accused by Forbes of lying about her finances and removed her billionaire status.
