Reality Steve Reveals Likely Age Minimum for Contestants on Clare Crawley's 'Bachelorette' Season
If you were thrown off by how young the demographic of women on The Bachelor was this season, you may be happy to know that the forthcoming season of The Bachelorette will bring a more mature crowd. Clare Crawley, the newest franchise star, is 38. And thankfully, it sounds like she'll have her pick of men (not boys!) on the upcoming season.
In fact, there may even be an age minimum for those being cast. According to Reality Steve, it's unlikely we'll see anyone below the age of 25 on the reality series. That being said, there could be some mid-20s men in the mix. He spilled the tea in a March 9 tweet:
"Last week I told you of a couple 25 year olds that were originally cast, but then were told they were no longer needed once they went with Clare. Well, there are some 25 year olds on her season, so I'm not sure why those other guys got singled out. Weird."
Fans had some pretty strong reactions to the news. "Nooo! 25 year olds are babies compared to her. She could ALMOST be their mom. 14 year age difference. Ick! She needs and deserves a mature man. Maybe they are just trying to get good paradise options for the younger girls going," one person tweeted back.
Regardless of whether there's a few 25-year-old men sprinkled into the mix or not, it sounds like the age demographic will definitely skew on the older side. Cheers to that and to Clare finally finding her dream man!
