Lindsey Lohan gets engaged to boyfriend Bader Shammas

Former child star of iconic movies like The Parent Trap and Life-Size, Lindsey Lohan, 35, - who recently made her comeback to the world of acting with a new holiday flick for Netflix- got engaged to her financier boyfriend Bader Shammas over the weekend. The Mean Girls actress shared the happy news to her social media page on Sunday.

Taking to her Instagram, the 35-year-old actress shared a carousel of images that showed Lindsey Lohan cuddling with her boyfriend Bader while flashing the sparkly diamond ring on her finger. The proposal must have taken the Freaky Friday actress by surprise as she could be seen red-eyed and teary in some of the pics when she flashed her ring. She captioned the post, "My love. My life. My family. My future. @bader.shammas #love ?"

For the engagement announcement pics, Lindsey Lohan and her beau were dressed in pretty casual gear, so we can only assume that the photos taken were from the moment straight after the proposal occurred.
