Lizzo cries tears of joy after legendary flutist Sir James Galway wishes her special Merry Christmas

Lizzo shared her reaction to receiving a special Merry Christmas wish from the legendary flutist Sir James Galway on Sunday.

In the video she posted to social media, the songstress, 34, cried tears of joy after getting the message from her idol.

She shared the video of the 83-year-old Irish virtuoso playing We Wish You A Merry Christmas on the flute before he said: "Merry Christmas, Lizzo, from your number one fan."

Over the video she shared to her Instagram story, the talented flutist herself wrote: "Y'all — Sir James Galway wished ME a merry Christmas".

With three emojis of shocked expression, the Grammy Award-winning singer added, "Price went ALL THE WAY UP".

Afterwards, she shared a video of her wiping back tears and saying, "Is that f***ing James?"

Earlier on Christmas Day, the Yitty shapewear brand founder shared a carousel post of herself in a pink bunny onesie.

She wrote to her fans: "Merry Christmas y'all. It's been a weird year."
