Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song Welcome First Child

New parents alert! Congratulations are officially in order for couple Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song, as they've just welcomed their first child into the world. How cute!

As reported by CNN, their baby boy was born on April 5, and his name is Dakota Song Culkin. The choice in name actually has a very special meaning, as the publication reports that Dakota is the name of Macaulay's late sister, who sadly passed away in 2008.

As of the time of this writing, neither Song nor Culkin have shared any photos of their little one on social media. While they both use Instagram on occasion, they are known to be pretty low-key when it comes to their private life. In fact, many people online didn't even know the two were together! When did Brenda Song and Macaulay Culkin start dating?

According to US Weekly, Macaulay and Brenda first sparked dating rumors back in 2017 when filming for their movie Changeland (2019). The two have been very private ever since, but as reported by Us Weekly, the Home Alone actor actually spoke about having a family with the Disney Channel alum back in 2018. While speaking on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast in August 2018, Macaulay said the following of his girlfriend:

"I’m gonna make some babies. This one’s a good one, so I’m probably going to put some babies in her in a little bit. I mean, we’ve definitely been practicing."
