Maci Bookout Finally Weighs in on 'Teen Mom' Co-Star Amber Portwood's Audio Leaks

It has been a few days since the disturbing audio footage of Teen Mom OG, Amber Portwood, started leaking. In the horrific clips, Portwood can be heard verbally and physically abusing her ex-boyfriend and baby daddy, Andrew Glennon, in front of their one-year-old son, James, even going as far as to say she would stab and kill him.  

Since the audio was revealed on Katie Joy’s vlog, Without A Crystal Ball, Teen Mom OG stars Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra, as well as Cheyenne Floyd, have showed their shock over the situation, and took time to speak out against domestic abuse.

And now, co-star Maci Bookout has finally joined them. The Ashley reports that the 28-year-old TV personality recently posted a heartfelt message for Portwood via Twitter, letting her longtime friend know that she is rooting for her to get the help she needs.

Bookout posted, “My heart breaks for everyone involved and affected by this terrible situation. I do not condone or support abuse or violence of any type. Amber has been a close, genuine friend of mine for many years, I will support her in getting the help she needs.”

She also added a short message as a nod to Glennon and James, writing, “I truly hope and pray that everyone involved receives the help necessary to recover from what has happened, and the guidance to prevent future incidents. –Maci.”
