Madeleine McCann's Parents Open Up on How Their 13th Christmas Feels Without Their Daughter
Many people are aware of the tragic story behind Madeleine McCann, the girl who went missing during holiday with her family in Portugal back in 2007. The daughter of Kate and Gerry McCann was just three years old when she allegedly vanished from their hotel room.
Now, Kate and Gerry are preparing for their 13th holiday season without their daughter, and have opened up the official "Find Madeleine" website on the heartbreak they're facing because of it. As reported by The Sun, the parents write that their wish this Christmas is, "help us get her home."
The two say they have, "not lost hope that we may get to celebrate another Christmas with her." While listing things they miss most about Madeleine, Kate and Gerry included, "Holding her, hugging her, kissing the top of her head, lying next to her."
Madeleine, if alive, would be 16 years old today. We're sending all the support in the world to her family as they try to get through another Christmas without her.
